Hello all! Wanted to make a small update post on the status and roadmap of ~Rebirth~'s development.

For starters, those who follow my Twitter may recall that I am almost done with the first Extra Chapter, MayuMori. The hide and seek adventure that was teased in the demo is now complete, and progress is being made on a chase sequence and the ending. This chapter will easily be ready for the full release. 

The second extra chapter, Sachiko, is still in progress. Progress on this chapter has been slower because it involves making new versions of a lot of existing maps, as opposed to MayuMori. The story details have been all figured out, so it's mostly a matter of executing at this point. I may want to get some feedback on the script, so depending on when I finish the Sachiko chapter, I may hold an open beta test for the chapter to get feedback. If that happens I will make a post regarding that.

Finally, the bonus ending I mentioned. I have started working on this, however, I've decided that this ending should come in a post-release update for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that I've been quite busy with college lately, and so I haven't had as much time to work on ~Rebirth~'s final elements, and the true ending is in a similar boat as the Sachiko chapter, only more extreme. Without going into too many details, I'm pretty much making a new version of almost the whole school plus some original maps, and there's some elements of the sequence I haven't fully figured out how I want to implement yet, so I'm going to need more time after release to give the ending the proper care it deserves. The second reason regards the currently in-development Corpse Party II: Satsuki's Heart by moca. As this bonus ending is meant to be a "True Ending" of sorts, I want to try and coincide the events of the ending to serve as something of a teaser for Satsuki's Heart. I am not on the devteam for that game, so I only know as much as everyone else about the game at the moment. My understanding is that a demo will be releasing sometime soon, but I do not know when. We'll have to see what happens on that front.
