Hey all! A patch for Corpse Party ~Rebirth~ has just dropped, so I wanted to report what has changed, as well as how to install the updated version of the game whether you played v1.0. Be warned of spoilers below.

How to install v1.66:
-via patch (on 1.0): Download the v1.66 patch and extract the contents to the root game folder.

-without v1.0: Download and run the Corpse Party v1.66.exe and run the installer.

Changelog:

*Several softlocks involving the Shiho event have been fixed. The sequence break has been kept in for speedrunners, and the letter has been moved to the shelf near Shiho's corpse so it cannot be permanently missed. Shiho's event will not occur if the Confined Room event has not occurred, though.

*Fixed softlock where the bile room could be passed without shoes. Now that room instantly kills the player if they cross without the blessed shoes.

*An un-updated event that caused Yoshiki's team to get the Marble Statue instead of the Art Room Key, which resulted in a softlock. This has been updated properly to give Yoshiki's the Art Room Key instead of the Marble Statue.

*Previously, Yoshiki's entire section could be completed without giving the Art Room Key to Satoshi's team, resulting in a softlock.  This has been fixed by preventing the second Naho meeting from occurring while the player holds the Art Room Key, and preventing the Pump Room Key from appearing before the second Naho meeting has occurred.

*The snakes in the Serpent Room can now properly damage and kill the player.

*Fixed a glitch where in several cutscenes a character appears twice if the player has changed off the lead character.

*The prompts for using the Serpent Key and Pool Key only appear once per run.

*Fixed a bug where Yoshikazu did not spawn properly during a chase sequence.

*Two scenes involved with character deaths that used Track 0 now use a pitched down version of the same music track.

*A new tileset has been made for the Bomb Shelter with a blue palette.
